Our private general practitioner (GP) practice was founded over sixty years ago by the late Dr John Janvrin who was trainee to Lord Hunt the founder of the Royal College of General Practitioners. We still have patients who have been with us since it's early days.
We offer appointments in our GP clinics in Harley Street and in St Ann's Square, Manchester. Both are medical centres of excellence with doctors and medical staff who are experienced and who specialise in the treatments offered.
Our doctors and other practitioners coordinate their efforts using the wide range of specialists and consultants in the clinics to ensure you get the best medical advice and treatment without delay.
Our private clinicians can tap into our excellent referral network which we have been developing for over twenty years to get you to the best specialists and hospitals. |

We are all aware of the importance of regular health check-ups and that prevention is better than cure.
In the well person, a health screen provides valuable reassurance. If you have a hidden illness, we catch it before damage is done. In fact, over half our patients benefit from some intervention to improve their health even if it is only advice on diet, exercise and work life balance.
Health screening at work provides valuable benefit to employees and helps the employer to show duty of care.
We offer health screens in our well-equipped private clinics in Harley Street, London and St Ann's Square, Manchester where we have advanced on-site facilities for testing and diagnosis to give prompt results. We can also carry out on-site health screening for companies to provide a more efficient service and reduce employee down time.

We offer cervical smears at our London and Manchester clinics using the slightly more accurate Liquid based cytology (Thin Prep) rather than conventional slide based screening.
You also have the option to be tested for HPV infection (the high risk types of which are responsible for abnormalities in the cervical cells) at the same time.

How often should women go for a smear test?
The NHS national screening programme says that “All women from the age of 25 to 64 should be tested every 3 years until the age of 49 and then every 5 years.”
Below the age of 20 cervical cancer is extremely rare.
If you are under 25 and have any concerns about your risks for developing cervical cancer or would like to discuss having a smear test then please make an appointment to see one of our GPs.
