Rapid GUM Certificates

We are aware that urgent STD certicates are often required and so we are set up to provide quick trade certificates

Following a negative screen, we will issue you with a sexual health certificate to enable you to work. The sexual health certificate states what you have been tested for and that you were clear.

Your trade screen certificate includes a statement of identification so your certificate cannot be used by other people.   For this reason you should bring ID to the test, such as passport or photo driving license.

How soon do you get your test results?

The time between testing and the availability of results is as follows. As you will see, provided you are clear, we will normally be able to issue your certificate very soon after testing.

Immediate Results:

  • HIV antibody test, NSU, Trichomonas, Bacterial Vaginosis, Thrush.

Within 72 hours:

  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea DNA tests from cervical swabs or urine.
  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea DNA tests from rectum and throat.
  • Syphilis antibody test, Hepatitis B immunity.

Therefore, your HIV certificate, NSU certificate, trichomonas certificate and your BV and and candidiasis certificates can all be provided very rapidly.

Your additional sexual health certificates are available as soon as the results have been received.
