TV's Dr Christian Jessen
Dr Christian Jessen at Doctorcall consults patients within the Doctorcall Private GP clinic for general medical appointments. He also works in the Regents Park Clinic consulting across the spectrum of Sexual Health matters, offering the whole range of tests and treatments. He gives sound practical advice on maintaining sexual health.
Dr Christian Jessen trained in general medicine, infectious disease, travel medicine and sexual health / HIV at UCL, London. He then spent some time in Kenya and Uganda where he researched malaria and HIV interactions.
Christian was born in London and still lives and works there. He sees patients for sexual health and general medical needs at Doctorcall, based on Harley Street.
Christian’s enthusiasm and passion for his work continue and he keeps up to date with medical developments. He has become well known for his recent television work which includes prime-time series, Supersize vs. Superskinny (Channel 4), Embarrassing Illnesses (Channel 4) and Sex in Court (E4), Finding God (Channel 4), where he looked after Jack Osborne during his travels through India, he was featured in the documentary Harley Street and has also appeared as an expert on Doctor Doctor (five) and was the medical expert on Skinny Celebrities (Living tv).
He is the Medical Advisor and columnist for Closer magazine and writes regular columns for Gay Times, Real magazine, QX and AXM magazine, and does occasional features in Arena, FHM and Men’s Health.
In his spare time Christian enjoys foreign travel, music and he is an accomplished oboist, performing publicly from time to time. He rides horses, works out and has even taken on the odd modelling job for various clothes and underwear companies.
