Certificates

Certificates are normally issued within 24 hours of a test.

Following a negative screen, we will issue you with a certificate to enable you to work. It states what you have been tested for and that you were clear.


It includes a statement of identification so your certificate cannot be used by other people.


How soon do you get your test results?

The time between testing and the availability of results is as follows. As you will see, provided you are clear, we will normally be able to issue your Certificate within 24 hours of testing.

Immediate Results:

  • HIV antibody test, NSU, Trichomonas, Bacterial Vaginosis, Thrush.

Within 72 hours:

  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea DNA tests from cervical swabs or urine.
  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea DNA tests from rectum and throat.
  • Syphilis antibody test, Hepatitis B immunity.
