Doctorcall objectively assesses the suitability of a candidate for employment in relation to the stated job role. If you require candidates for employment to have a health screen please call  our occupational health team on 0844 257 0646.
 
Initially we offer assessment of a pre-employment medical questionnaire; this may include a telephone assessment follow up by an OH specialist and referral if required.
This identifies:
  • Any Health promotion advice that is required
  • Is the candidate fit for work?
  • Is the candidate fit for work with restrictions?
  • Do they require referral for a full medical withan OH specialist?
  • Reasonable adaptations to job role or further risk assessment required of the employer.
  • Any health related risks with in the proposed employment. (e.g. exposure to noise / chemicals / vibration). Base line screening is carried out at the pre-employment stage.
Typical Pre-employment Medicals can include:
 
Height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, urinalysis, vision screening, lung function tests, hearing assessment, musculo-skeletal assessment, past medical history review, general and specific health promotion, blood tests, ECG, chest x-ray, drug and alcohol screening, full physician examination.
