Many countries require you to have a medical before they allow entry. We offer Visa Medicals in both our London and Manchester clinics.
We will provide you with all of the information you require to help you complete your Visa application successfully.
We often have short-notice appointments available and you can check for availability from this page using the 'Book An Appointment' tool at the top of the page.
We offer a Visa Medical for a range of countries:
If you need a medical for a country that is not listed here, please call us to check for availability.
If an X-ray is required, we arrange for you to attend a local facility to have this done at the end of your appointment. Transport and associated costs are included in the fee.
The cost of a Visa Medical depends on the country you're travelling to. If you have any additional requirements we can add these on for you once you have made an appointment and you can just pay the outstanding balance upon your visit to us. If you want an exact price before you attend, please call us.
We have provided information below which may be useful to you. If there's anything we've missed, or you have any further queries, please call us.
How long will the medical take?
The medical should take no more than an hour, but probably less. We aim to see you promptly so you're not waiting any longer than you need to be. Your appointment should start at the time you book it for.
If booking for a Saturday, please be aware that the appointment may take slightly longer due to the availability of X-ray equipment.
Where an X-ray is required this will be done through a third party provider at a different location, which we will arrange for you. Where the appointment is made for a late-afternoon, evening or weekends, the availability of the X-ray equipment may be limited or not available. Therefore, we recommend arranging for the X-ray to take place in advance of the medical (which will need arranging with the office in advance), or it can be carried out the next business day, subject to availability.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the appointment?
Please bring along your passport which will act as ID and arrive 15 minutes before the start of the appointment. If you have any medical conditions that may be relevant, please bring along information such as repeat prescriptions and specialist letters to help speed up the process.
You do not need to fast in advance of a Visa Medical.
I need some extra tests
As your appointment will be with a GP we can usually accommodate a range of tests and services whether they are in relation to your medical or not. Once you have made your appointment you can let us know and we can add these on to your booking.
How do I arrange an appointment for a medical?
The easiest way to arrange an appointment is by using our online booking facility at the top of this page - select 'Visa Medical' and choose the country you're traveling to.
Or you can call us.
