Doctorcall is the largest provider of flu vaccinations in the UK outside the NHS. We were closely involved with avian flu, SARS and MERS and we are highly experienced in the management of epidemics and in pandemic planning.
Doctorcall was established in 1989. We operate three clinics in England - two in London and one in Manchester - and we're regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All of our doctors are UK-based and registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. You can verify our status and 'Good' inspection award on the CQC website here.

The majority of people with COVID-19 have uncomplicated or mild illness (81%), with non-specific symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough (with or without sputum production), anorexia, malaise, muscle pain, sore throat, dyspnea, nasal congestion, or headache. Rarely, patients may also present with diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Loss of taste and smell has been reported early in the infection.
As with all viral PCR assays, patients with very low viral loads are less likely to be detected. 'Not detected' results do not preclude infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and should not be the sole basis of a patient treatment/management or public health decision. Where there is a strong clinical suspicion of an early COVID-19 infection repeat sampling should be considered 24-48 hours later.
We cannot provide a certificate for travel for this test and therefore it is not valid for travel. Certificates can only be issued for tests carried out in our clinics.
We usually dispatch next-day. On occasion, for reasons outside of our control, we may dispatch the following day.
If you order more than one type of home test you must provide one sample per order. If you provide one sample for two or more testing kits at least one of your orders may not be analysed.
