Under the Test to Release scheme you can take a test on Day 5. If the result is negative (and the result of your day 2 test result was negative or inconclusive) you can end your quarantine.

The UK Government requires travellers arriving from foreign countries to take a Covid-19 PCR test upon arrival. This is the optional Day 5 Test to Release.

Should you wish to leave quarantine early, you can take this optional Test to Release PCR test, on day 5 and leave quarantine once a negative certificate has been received.  (If you do this, you are still required to complete your Day 8 test as well).  

If you would like to Test to Release, you simply order the test, we send 1 complete CE marked nose/throat sample collection kit to your UK address.

Complete the day 5 test following the easy-to-follow instructions.  Register the test online with the link sent to you with your purchase confirmation.  Take the sample to a post office and post it to our laboratory.  The kit comes with a pre-addressed envelope and includes return postage.  

Receive your day 5 results and certificate, available within one day of receipt of your sample by our laboratory.

Individuals must order each kit in their own name. Therefore we have limited order quantities of each product type to one per order.

It is your responsibility to buy the correct test for your travel circumstances.

Doctorcall cannot be held responsible if there are any delays with the postal service which may result in a delay in either you receiving your test or the sample being returned to the lab.

Returning your sample to us is easy. Simply place the completed test into the pre-addressed envelope, which includes return postage, and take it to your nearest post office.
