Your Hepatitis B Test Result Is Clear

A hepatitis B clear result means you do not have hepatitis B according to the test that you had.  You have been tested for hepatis B surface antigen (HBSAg) and a clear result confirms that the virus was not found in your blood.  It does not indicate immunity and if you have been vaccinated against hepatitis B and require either immunity testing or vaccination you should book a clinic appointment [link to booking clinic appointment]

Hepatitis B virus is carried in blood and body fluids.  It is not caught by spillage of body fluids onto intact skin but can be contracted through cuts or through the cornea.

If you would like to have a telephone or video consultation with a doctor to discuss this further, you can arrange one using the tool at the top-right of this page.
